American Retirement Homes, Inc. is a local, family-owned management company proudly serving our communities for over five decades. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate accounting team.
⭐ What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle (billing, invoicing, collections, cash application)
- Ensure accurate and timely invoices and statements
- Monitor aging accounts and proactively follow up on overdue balances
- Maintain excellent customer service with internal teams and external partners
- Support the accounting department with accuracy and attention to detail
- 1–3+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping office
- Timeliness & great customer service
- Prior Experience working with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail (a must!)
- Proficiency in Windows & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Prior AR experience & billing processes
- Clear criminal background
- High School Diploma or GED required
- General understanding of accounting principles
- Full-Time | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday–Friday (may occasionally include weekends)
- 100% On-Site – No Remote Work
