Sr Full Stack Developer w/ AWS

Position: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Reston, Virginia (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract

Job Overview:

Mandatory Skills: Java, Spring boot, AWS service expertise and Angular

The Application Developer is responsible for performing high-complexity analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design documents. The candidate will also address and resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, and test system-level applications.
• Resolve defects identified during testing cycles.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.
• Employ current programming languages to meet business needs.
• Maintain proficiency with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Solid knowledge of programming languages, application servers, database servers, and system architecture.
• Experience with J2EE, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Dynamo DB, RDS, Python, Postgres, and Oracle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are desired.
• 10+ years of software development experience across relevant platforms.
• 3-4 years of experience in UI development using Angular.
• Solid IT background and experience as an application developer for projects of similar scope and responsibility.

Pay Range: $70 - $75

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
