Bobtail/Fuel Delivery Driver- Class A or B CDL - Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements

Description: Tiger is looking for an outstanding Propane/Fuel Delivery Driver to join our Team at our Fredericksburg Plant. This position requires an individual to safely load, then drive a bobtail delivery vehicle to residential and commercial customer locations. This position will also cross train as an oil delivery driver. Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance. Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates delivery truck in accordance with established safety procedures. Collaborate with Dispatcher to plan and follow routes and meet delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions. Completes required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries and responses. Ensure truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order. During the slower summer months, be prepared to take on plant maintenance and other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications and Experience Requires a Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice and other weather conditions Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, carrying hoses/nozzles weighing up to 50 lbs Good driving record with no major convictions Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence with Dispatcher and customers Able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes and other paperwork Displays a positive, “can-do” attitude and interacts well with others on a team Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen test This is a full-time, year-round role with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, company paid short-term disability insurance, a 401K with company matching, paid time off, a gym membership stipend, safety bonus program and much more!
