Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend and major holiday required
• Weekend block scheduling potentially available

Immerse yourself in a 27-bed Cardio-Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit providing advanced cardiac patient care with continuous bedside monitoring. The unit boasts a collaborative, experienced team, robust support from CNAs and charge nurses, and opportunities to expand your clinical competence through cross-training and floating to ICU, Med/Surg, and ED settings within your stepdown skillset.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; 6+ months in acute care preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in rhythm strip interpretation and EKG (must pass exam at orientation)
• Demonstrated experience: lab draws, IV starts, cardiac drips (Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone—no vasopressors), insulin drips, BiPAP
• Comfortable with chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, and adult/geriatric populations
• Willingness to float as needed; no travel pairs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
