As a Sprinkler Trainee , you’ll oversee installation crews of 2–5 technicians on a variety of commercial projects. You’ll take ownership of the job site — ensuring work meets Eagle Fire’s high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on independence, problem-solving, and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead field crews in the layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge).
Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and ensure efficient use of manpower and materials.
Make on-the-spot decisions to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for accurate installation.
Coordinate material needs, deliveries, and job sequencing to minimize disruption to customer operations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites that reflect Eagle Fire’s reputation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members to resolve issues quickly.
What You Bring:
Proven experience running sprinkler installation or service crews (typically 2–5 people).
2+ years in the fire protection trade, with hands-on experience in wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills — confident working independently with minimal oversight.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with trade tools and equipment (threaders, groovers, etc.).
Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.
NICET certification and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
Physical ability to perform all job site tasks safely.
