Software Development Engineer, AWS PawPrint
DESCRIPTION
PawPrint is a critical AWS internal service that orchestrates compute capacity planning and delivery for regional expansions. As a Software Development Engineer, you will enhance this essential platform that serves over 1,500 AWS service teams in managing their capacity plans. You will build innovative features focus on automation and footprint optimization, directly contributing to AWS's ability to scale efficiently and meet growing customer demands. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. You should demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals and proven experience delivering high-quality solutions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
