Daily Operational Responsibilities
· Assist Controller with month-end closing entries and daily cash entries.
· Prepare and review assigned schedules and reconciliations.
· Monitor check controls
· Process payroll and commissions
· Record and reconcile payroll and various benefits
· On-boarding administration for new hires
· Record retail and wholesale deals in CDK, reviewing final compliance documents within the deal jacket
· Record and reconcile warranty entries
· Record and reconcile F&I reserve entries
· Process and record lien payoff checks (including CDK posting) and contacting respective banks for payoff amounts
· Process, record and remit DMV payments
· Create new stock numbers for acquired vehicles and set up files
· Record fundings and Dealer EFTs
· Process wholesale and DX transactions
· Provide backup and cross-training within the finance department and coordinate office flow.
Compliance & Audit Responsibilities
· Participate in Title and Floor Plan audits
· D-tag audits and maintain logs
· Dealer board recertifications
· Assist with Sales Licensing compliance and processing
· F&I product remittance recording in CDK
· Assist with dealer statement preparation.
· Recommend and implement internal control procedures within areas of responsibility
Desired Skills
· 3-5 years Automotive background with DMS experience with CDK, Route One, VITU, ADP, Stars or similar type systems.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· MS Office: Excel and Word
· College degree preferred.
