Pay: $65,000 – $75,000 / Annually (depending on experience)

About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a growing division of a national organization to hire a Division HR Coordinator to support their Tysons, VA office. This individual will serve as the sole HR representative on-site and act as a strategic partner to the Division President. If you’re a well-rounded HR professional ready to take full ownership of the HR function at the local level, this is an outstanding opportunity.
Job Description:
The Division HR Coordinator will manage day-to-day HR functions while supporting long-term HR initiatives. This role is a trusted advisor to the local leadership team and serves as the go-to resource for all employee-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for 75–80 employees in the division
- Handle the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding
- Manage administrative tasks including payroll support, benefits inquiries, and timesheet reviews
- Conduct orientation and training for new hires
- Liaise between corporate HR and local office to implement HR policies
- Track and process promotions, performance actions, terminations, and organizational changes
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
- Partner with leadership to proactively address workforce needs and concerns
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of broad-based HR experience
- 1+ year of experience as the sole or lead HR contact for a business unit or organization
- Associate degree or higher required
- Proficiency with HR systems (Taleo, PeopleSoft preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Must have stable job history (no more than 3 jobs in the past 5 years)
- Candidates must have prior experience in a corporate environment (nonprofit/government -only backgrounds will not be considered)
Additional Details:
- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Worksite: 100% On-Site
- Team Size: 1 (You’ll be the sole HR team member on-site)
- Reports To: Division President – a highly supportive, training-minded leader looking for a collaborative partner, not a direct report
- Interview Process Includes:
