Job Title: Assembler (Manufacturing) –
Location: Colonial Heights, VA 23834
Duration:(6 Months)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Work Location: 100% Onsite
Available Shifts:2nd shift - Shift time:
3pm-11:30pm
Job Summary:
Is seeking reliable and motivated Assemblers to join its manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble refrigeration display cases and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools while following work orders and production specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble refrigeration cases and various sub-assemblies.
Read and interpret work orders and assembly instructions.
Identify and install the correct parts and hardware.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Read tape measures, rulers, and other measuring instruments.
Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware.
Perform quality assembly work while meeting production standards.
Move between workstations as production needs require.
Work collaboratively with the assembly team.
Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Physical Requirements

Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
