Job Description
This role focuses on manual packaging in a high-volume facility. You will assemble boxes, pack final product components, perform quality checks, and support continuous, fast-paced line operations. The position requires standing and repetitive assembly work on a 12-hour shift schedule, with rotation across multiple stations on a dedicated production line.
Responsibilities
- Manually assemble boxes and packaging components, including building the physical box, inserting bags, instructions, and other materials prior to shipment.
- Work on an assembly line in close proximity to teammates, performing repetitive tasks with a strong focus on speed and accuracy.
- Meet performance expectations by handling boxes rapidly, including being able to make a box in less than 2 seconds in some stations.
- Rotate through all positions on the assigned production line, including packing, material handling, end-of-line work, and palletizing materials.
- Lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets and handle product up to 33 lbs consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and keep machines and equipment in good condition according to site standards.
- Support continuous production flow by avoiding unplanned downtime and contributing to the constant movement of the line.
- Meet standard hourly production results and maintain consistent output in a fast-paced environment where performance is closely measured.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all products meet required quality standards and promptly report any issues or failures.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements, including reporting any deviations or defects in accordance with established procedures.
- Complete line operation reporting such as TPM, 5S, quality assurance checks, and line release audits as required.
- Support changeovers between products or runs, including assisting with machine cleaning and setup activities.
- Follow established production processes and learn the full range of tasks for Level 1 Final Pack Operators, including packing and materialist duties.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to maintain smooth operations and positive working relationships.
- Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures, including dress code and production floor rules.
- Work a 3-2-2-3 type schedule on 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), including required rotations of 4 hours standing, 4 hours sitting, and time at the end of the line palletizing materials.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance, reliability, and job tenure, maintaining steady employment without unexplained large gaps.
- Operate within a performance-driven environment where output, quality, and efficiency are continually monitored and reported.
Essential Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to perform repetitive assembly line tasks with consistent speed and quality.
- Experience standing for 8–12 hour shifts in previous roles.
- Ability to make a box in less than 2 seconds in applicable stations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets and handle product up to 33 lbs consistently.
- Comfort with continuous standing and walking, frequent turning, grabbing, and pinching away from the body.
- Ability to bend and squat repeatedly as part of daily tasks.
- Experience in environments where performance is measured and tracked, such as production, manufacturing, or similar settings.
- Experience with packaging, packing orders, and working on a production or assembly line.
- Basic mechanical aptitude suitable for working around production equipment and supporting machine-related tasks.
- General production and material handling experience, including loading and inventory-related activities.
- Ability to maintain job tenure of approximately 1–2 years in previous positions, demonstrating stability and reliability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in quality inspection and working with defined quality standards.
- Familiarity with production reporting tools and concepts such as TPM, 5S, quality assurance checks, and line release audits.
- Knowledge of packaging processes and labeling requirements.
- Experience in warehouse production or general labor roles that involve structured, repetitive tasks.
- Comfort working in a highly structured, assembly-focused environment with limited movement away from the line.
- Willingness to start at an entry-level position regardless of prior experience and learn specific production processes from the ground up.
- Openness to career progression from packing and basic line work to more advanced roles, including potential machine operation over time.
- Ability to communicate clearly with peers and follow established values and behaviors that support teamwork and collaboration.
- Readiness to work a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule on 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

Work Environment
The environment is highly organized and performance-driven, with clear safety and cleanliness standards supported by methodologies such as 5S and TPM. You will be assigned to a specific production line and will rotate responsibilities, including 4 hours of standing, 4 hours of sitting, and time at the end of the line palletizing materials, within a 3-2-2-3 schedule of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The facility includes a canteen and breakroom with food and drink machines, as well as locker rooms with lockers available upon request. Cell phones are not allowed on the production floor; if a locker is not available, personal items may be left on top of lockers or kept in your car. The dress code supports safety and product quality: no jewelry, phones, fake nails, fake eyelashes, or nail polish are permitted on the floor, and hoodies are not allowed. The overall environment combines high standards of cleanliness and safety with structured training, clear procedures, and opportunities to advance as the operation grows.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
