Job Summary: The Preventative Maintenance Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating new agreement opportunities, conducting effective sales presentations, qualifying prospects, addressing objections, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Potential Clients: Seek out and identify potential clients that fit the ideal prospect profile.
- Cold Calling: Engage in cold calling to connect with key decision-makers.
- Sales Scripts: Use company scripts to introduce services and handle objections.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver sales presentations that accurately showcase services and capabilities.
- Custom Sales Strategies: Tailor sales strategies based on customer needs.
- Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to develop accurate estimates.
- Present & Negotiate: Present and negotiate agreements effectively.
- Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects.
- Proposal Pipeline: Develop a proposal pipeline to achieve sales goals.
- Close Deals: Close new agreements to meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Customer Inquiries: Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communication: Maintain communication with management and be open to feedback.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education:
- 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven skills in prospecting and setting appointments.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and cloud-based drives.
- Self-motivated, independent, organized, and confident.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Highly motivated and goal-driven with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Resilient and tenacious.
- Openness to learning and being coached.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
