Support Services of Virginia is seeking a Site Coordinator to support individuals receiving services in Danville. This position combines direct support responsibilities with team leadership and is ideal for someone who is positive, adaptable, person-centered, community-oriented, and passionate about helping others achieve greater independence and success.
As a Site Coordinator, you will play an active role in supporting individuals both at home and in the community. Your work will directly contribute to their personal growth, well-being, and ability to live meaningful lives. The Site Coordinator is responsible for implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for assigned individuals and providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Assistant Site Coordinators (ASCs). This position is expected to model Positive Practices, promote high-quality service delivery, and support a positive team environment.
This position requires daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Overnight hours may also be required based on site needs and staffing requirements. The Site Coordinator reports directly to the Site Service Coordinator or Regional Head of Services.
Compensation• $15.50 per hour
Qualifications• Ability to pass criminal and registry background checks
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with proof of education
• Clear tuberculosis screening
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently and accept constructive feedback
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid, Medication Management, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Core Competencies
• Basic math skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries is preferred
