Data Center Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

At GXO Logistics, our employees take pride in their work and show dedication to their job. As the Production Technician Associate, you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.

Day Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

· Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructions

· Safely utilize various measuring and inspection instruments

· Use various power and hand tools in a safe manner

· Work with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasives

· Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standards

· Organize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within department

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

· A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniques

· Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work procedures

· Ability to perform work in a manufacturing environment

It’d be great if you also have:

· High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience

· 2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environment

· Availability to travel more than 75% of the time

· Good communication skills

· Proven ability to collaborate with and support other team members

· Ability to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

This job requires the ability to:

· Lift up to 50 lbs.

· Work outside on occasion

· Reach (including above your head)

· Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel

· Visually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilities
