Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Intern will have responsibility for the creation, organization and processing of information, and will provide additional support as needed for the Corporate Supply Chain organization.

Location:

On-site in Lynchburg, VA

Your Day to Day as a Supply Chain Intern:

• Provides administrative support to a team of supply chain professionals and project managers with data analytics for monthly KPIs.
• Supports the BWXT Supply Chain Credit Card Program.
• Supports the sub-contract process by utilizing SAP in developing purchase orders.
• Facilitates improvements to the Corporate Procurement SharePoint site.
• Develops presentation slides as needed for various projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Supply Management, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Marketing/Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology or other related business disciplines.
• Must be able to demonstrate superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.

Pay: $32.24

The starting hourly rate for this position in Virginia (US-VA) is expected to be $32.24 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
