Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Human Resources Supervisor in Ruther Glen, VA!
Human Resources Supervisor: supports the HR Manager, advising management on HR matters. Overseeing staffing and performance management, handling employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Also, processing payroll and benefits, managing unemployment claims, conducting training sessions. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
Salary: $47,500 - $52,000/Hr.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advise management on HR-related decisions and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
· Coordinate performance management programs and facilitate effective communication across all employee levels.
· Investigate employee complaints, respond to EEOC charges, and resolve conflicts.
· Oversee payroll and benefits processing, including assisting with general benefit inquiries and the open enrollment process.
· Supervise HR staff and manage personnel records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
· Stay updated on employment law changes & manage training initiatives for employees.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on HR generalist and supervisory experience, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and a diverse workforce.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office applications; strong computer skills.
· Knowledge of employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, with the ability to ensure compliance.
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
