Young Toddler Teacher (12-18 months)
Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Young Toddler Teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will foster a love for learning, promote social and emotional development, and encourage creativity through play-based activities. Duties Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning. Instruction: Engage children in hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive play to enhance their cognitive and social skills. Assessment: Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting developmental milestones and adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Communication: Maintain open and positive communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and behavior. Collaboration: Work closely with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience and participate in professional development opportunities. Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all children, adhering to school
policies and state regulations. Requirements Education: BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or a High School diploma in addition to a current CDA. Certification: Infant/Toddler CDA preferred (if no degree). Experience: Previous experience working with infant/toddler aged children is preferred. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. *Candidate must pass all required state and federal background checks in order to be eligible for hire.
