Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers to deliver mission critical software.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python and C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features for development
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of codebase
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software engineering technologies and methodologies
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience as a software engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field (additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with web application development frameworks such as FastAPI or Django
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must have an active TS clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Familiarity with API development
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while working remotely
