TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Psych RN in Pulaski, Virginia, 24301!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Active Virginia license required Certifications: BLS, CPI required Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required. Must hold an active Virginia license at the time of submission. BLS and CPI certifications are required. The unit has 16 beds with 17 full-time staff members and 9 PRN staff. Day shift consists of 2 RNs and 2 technicians. Night shift consists of 2 RNs and 2 technicians. Patient-to-staff ratio is 8:1. Type of equipment used includes EKG, glucometer, and blood pressure monitors. Electronic Medical Record system is Meditech. Most recruited candidates possess experience as travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Candidates without CPI and behavioral health experience will not be considered for this role. The unit performs assessments, recovery planning, and medication administration. The ideal candidate will be friendly and compassionate. Dress code requires navy scrubs, and professional attire must be adhered to. About Cynet Health
