Are you a skilled developer looking to make an impact in a mission-driven environment? NS2 Mission is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to help design and build a modern web-based application that streamlines tasking workflows and enhances operational efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, agile setting based in Chantilly, VA.

This application will serve as a centralized solution for managing taskings—eliminating duplicate requests, integrating with external tools, and providing rich metrics and reporting capabilities for better decision-making. We're looking for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems with both back-end and front-end expertise.

Our team is specifically seeking candidates with OpenTable format/PySpark experience, backend API technology such as Python (FastAPI), Java, SpringBoot, and RESTful design patterns best practices. Experience with JavaScript + UI framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.), Docker, AWS, and Terraform. Additionally, the program is seeking experience with Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a full-stack web application to manage and streamline tasking workflows.
• Implement backend services and APIs using technologies like Python (FastAPI), Java, and SpringBoot.
• Build dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Leverage OpenTable format and PySpark for data processing and integration.
• Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
• Deploy infrastructure and manage environments using AWS and Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Apply DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience in a scientific or technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• OpenTable formatand PySpark

• Backend development using Python (FastAPI), Java, SpringBoot

• RESTful API design and implementation

• Front-end development with JavaScriptand frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue

• AWS, Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (e.g., infrastructure as code, CI/CD).

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
