Low Voltage Security Foreman – Mission Critical Data Center

A well-established and growing electronic security systems integrator is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Security Foreman to lead field operations on a large-scale, mission-critical data center project in Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who has a strong background in commercial electronic security systems and enjoys managing high-performing field teams on complex construction projects.

Position Summary

The Foreman will oversee the daily operations of multiple installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to customer specifications. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with project management, customers, and other trades in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field team consisting of:

  • 3 Senior Lead Technicians

  • 6–8 Security Technicians

  • 6 Electricians

• Coordinate daily field activities and manpower.

• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and customer standards.

• Install, configure, test, and commission electronic security systems including:

  • CCTV / Video Surveillance

  • Access Control Systems

  • Intrusion Detection Systems

  • Commercial Alarm Systems

• Read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.

• Conduct safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance.

• Monitor project progress, labor productivity, and installation quality.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide leadership to field personnel.

• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, or Superintendent within the low-voltage or electronic security industry.

• Proven experience leading multiple installation crews on commercial construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Electronic Security Systems

  • Access Control

  • CCTV

  • Intrusion Detection

  • Commercial Alarm Systems

• Previous mission-critical or data center experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Required Certifications

• OSHA 30 Certification

• Aerial Lift Training Certification

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Ability to pass a drug screening and physical/health screening

Compensation

• $40.00–$60.00 per hour, depending on experience.
