Power Platform Developer

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Description
DSA is in search of an exceptionally skilled Power Platform Developer with extensive Power BI development experience possessing a secret clearance. This position is a hybrid role reporting to the Pentagon one day per week.

Required Qualifications

• Highly proficient in data visualization design/data modeling/data science


• Highly proficient in development of Power BI solutions


• Proficient in Power Apps and Power Automate solution development


• Proficient in SharePoint Online (SPO)


• Experience with Army 365 (A365) or Microsoft Office 365


• Solid understanding of requirements gathering process and customer engagement


• CompTIA Security + CE certification (Certification preferred upon hire but must be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidates)


• Computing Environment (CE) relative to the position (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 100, 200, or 400 other related certifications can be considered) - Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 180 days for otherwise well qualified candidate)

Clearance Required

• Active or Current DOD Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Experience managing Power BI Premium Workspaces


• Project management experience including requirements gathering, customer engagement, and formaldocumentation of efforts


• Microsoft Office skills especially PowerPoint


• Experience with Power BI and SharePoint in the US Army unclassified network or DoD environment


• Experience using project management tools e.g. MS Project and JIRA


• Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models


• Experience with data lakes such as Army Vantage


• Proficient with Model-Driven app development and Dataverse


• Experience with MS Power Suite, including Power Apps and Power Automate

Key Responsibilities

• Define, model, and deliver connections to standard Army data sources


• Establish and maintain connections through the data gateway, create ETL as required and utilize Dataverse and data warehouses as needed


• Design and deliver common dashboards/reports


• Evolve the existing data framework platform to provide enterprise repeatable capabilities


• Power BI solution development


• Power BI Premium Workspace management


• Data model development


• Alignment of SharePoint Online, M365, SharePoint and other solutions to data model


• Building data environment to support existing and emerging data visualization and metrics requirements


• Working with customers to define and document requirements


• Stakeholder communications including formal and informal presentations


• Develop data visualization solutions


• Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules


• Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence (BI) based on key performance indicators and customer requirement
