Physical Therapist Job Details – Harrisonburg, VA

• Location: Harrisonburg, VA 22801 – Experience the vibrant community, scenic parks, and lively downtown of Harrisonburg while working in a top Virginia hospital.
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel Physical Therapist job)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (any shift)
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680–$1730 per week

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (SNF or hospital experience preferred)
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification
• Covid test required within 72 hours prior to start date (results within 48 hours)
• Resume, pre-screen, and license verification must be submitted with application

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services in a hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including those needing women's health, vestibular, and pelvic rehabilitation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with hospital policies
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home care instructions
