DOD Federal Sales Executive

General Summary of Position:
The Granite Government Solutions Sales Team is looking for a highly self-motivated, professional for our Federal Sales Executive Department of Defense role as we expand our team to meet the opportunity. Granite has GSA EIS contract awards as well as other non-EIS business opportunities that we wish to build to. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, a high energy level fueled by self-motivation, the ability to learn with a growth mindset, and 3 to 5 years of Fed DOD sales experience around either Technology, Telecommunications, or Government. Consistent and demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn at a fast pace from initial training, ongoing training and experience, Receptive to positive coaching.
- Identify opportunities both within and outside of the GSA EIS program for assigned agencies (DOD and Civilian)
- Gain a strong understanding of our telecom technology sales process and a strong understanding of the federal acquisition regulations, policies, and contract vehicles.
- Evangelize Granite capabilities and Value Proposition to influence, position and win and secure new business.
- Identify and align with the Agency Org charts and any procurement agencies that may be involved within the agency.
- Manage a solution sales process and team sale process to win larger deals.
- Work within our Salesforce instance to develop and keep current strategic account plans, notes, contacts, etc. for assigned agencies
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in technology, or telecom or government.
- Possess a "hunter" mentality as it relates to pursuit of meetings with and aligning with the agency org charts, as well as any procurement agencies that are involved.
- BA/BS degree from accredited college or university
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be coachable. Must be committed to growing your e-intelligence and your work related intelligence.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Professional and confident while striking a balance with humility. Flexible "can do" approach
- Must have the ability to be background cleared for Public Trust level of clearance AKA P2S
