CDL-A Driver
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CDL-A Driver for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your career with a company that values skill, reliability, and professionalism, while enjoying steady routes and consistent support.

Pay Rate
$20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

CDL-A Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination providing accurate, timely, courteous service to customer shops or job sites.
• Secures load using runners, boards, ratchet straps, chains, and binders around items to secure cargo during transit.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed which include receiving, verifying, and checking delivered material, restocking, picking orders, palletizing orders, staging orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks, operating sit down and stand-up forklifts, WMS RF scanning device and normal housekeeping duties.

CDL-A Driver Qualifications and Requirements

• MUST have a current CDL Driver’s license with a good driving record
• MUST pass pre-employment drug screen (THC included), MVR, and criminal background
• MUST have a year’s experience in flat bed
• Chain down, strap the loads properly
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to a warehouse space that is not controlled by climate.
