Senior Electrical Engineer
Join a collaborative MEP consulting team designing innovative K-12, municipal, commercial, government, and mission-critical facilities. This is an opportunity to lead complex electrical projects, mentor junior engineers, and manage designs from concept through construction while working in a flexible hybrid environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of electrical power, lighting, and building systems for a variety of facility types.
- Manage projects through planning, design, bidding, construction administration, and commissioning.
- Prepare engineering calculations, equipment layouts, construction documents, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, perform quality reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of electrical design experience in an MEP consulting environment.
- PE license (or ability to obtain Virginia licensure).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with K-12, commercial, municipal, government, healthcare, or data center projects preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
