Job Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman Software Engineer – Enterprise Integration to support the development and sustainment of enterprise integration services within a federal environment. This role focuses on building APIs, managing data exchange patterns, and ensuring reliable system interoperability across platforms and mission partners. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting enterprise integrations and troubleshooting interface connectivity issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain enterprise integration services and APIs.
• Implement data exchange patterns and error handling aligned with integration engineering requirements.
• Manage external interface maintenance including certificate renewals and schema updates.
• Implement and support ServiceNow MID Server and API integrations.
• Monitor interface health and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and platform engineering teams to deploy integration capabilities.
• Maintain documentation and configuration details for integration services.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise information technology.
• Experience developing and supporting APIs and integration services.
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity, authentication, and data exchange issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and service-based architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting DoD or federal environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations or MID Server.
• API or integration platform certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
