Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a float pool ICU position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float across multiple critical care and intermediate care units.

Details

• Float pool position covering multiple ICU and intermediate care units, including Medical ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Trauma ICU (Level 1), Neuro & Neurosurgery ICU, Critical Care and Intermediate Care Special Pathogens Unit, Thoracic Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit, Surgical Trauma Intermediate Unit, Neuro & Neurosurgery Intermediate Unit, and ED Boarders
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience across critical care and intermediate care settings required to meet float pool demands
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must adhere to the facility's float policy and may be floated across units consistent with their clinical experience
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved per 13-week contract; no RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
