Production Equipment Reliability Mechanic
Location: Richmond, VA
Employment: Full-Time
Shifts: Multiple shifts (1st and 3rd shift openings available)
Pay Range: $23–$32 per hour

Be the go-to problem solver who keeps high-volume production equipment safe, stable, and online.
Your impact
- Preventive maintenance: execute scheduled PMs to extend equipment life
- Corrective maintenance: respond to breakdowns and restore operation fast
- Systems expertise: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
- Failure diagnosis: isolate root causes and minimize downtime
- Equipment work: install, align, adjust, and rebuild components and assemblies
- Technical literacy: interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders accurately
- Tool use: operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Documentation: record maintenance and repairs with precision
- Safety: adhere to all site safety policies and procedures
Minimum qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and independent troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems; electrical experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar machinery
- Dependable, punctual, and effective in fast-paced settings
Preferred qualifications
- Electrical troubleshooting (motors, controls, sensors)
- PLC troubleshooting (no programming)
- Welding/fabrication capability
- Background in manufacturing or production facilities
