Retail Pricing Clerk Location Abingdon, VA :

Job Summary: The ECRS/POS Maintenance Clerk is responsible for maintaining overall pricing integrity throughout K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc. by troubleshooting, supporting, and resolving retail store issues on items not scanning in the ECRS inventory system. Additionally, this role is responsible for the daily extracting, sorting, and delivering of financial data files from third party vendors such as Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG), HT Hackney, and Cardinal.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure that all price changing procedures are properly followed and maintained in all departments.
• Ensure that all merchandise prices are consistent with prices listed in Retail Pricing Departments applications.
• Add/Remove new and specialty items to ECRS, as needed.
• Maintain audit records of all price changes
• Completes audit reports, noting discrepancies and plans of action to resolve
• Enforces regional pricing and product authorization policies
• Assist with store-level customer service issues, as needed
• Other duties, as required

Additional Job Functions:

• Understand and follow confidentiality policy regarding company information as well as personnel information.
• Verification, completion, and distribution of vital department reports, documents, and paperwork via written, verbal, or e-mail to the appropriate individuals as deemed by supervision and/or policy.
• Complete documentation of activities as required.
• Follow all safety and security measures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School degree/GED required
• Previous experience in retail and/or grocery operations, is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of scanning processes, systems, and technologies, preferred
• Proficiency with computer applications and programs including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals daily
• Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as additional time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance
