Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel opportunity is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist with specialized Neuro IR experience. The role is set within a focused Angiography/Special Procedures unit, supporting advanced imaging procedures that require precision and expertise.

Location: Midlothian, VA
Unit: Angiography/Special Procedures
Shift: Day shift with call responsibilities after hours and weekends
Work Environment:

• 4-bed unit with a 9-person team (5 RNs, 4 technologists)
• Utilizes Philips and GE biplane imaging equipment
• EMR system: Meditech
• Navy scrub attire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform neuro interventional radiology imaging procedures with high volumes of complex cases
• Operate advanced biplane imaging systems to assist physician teams in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during exams
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, RNs, and other technologists for seamless unit operations
• Participate in on-call rotations for coverage during nights and weekends

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years hospital experience required, particularly in neuro interventional radiology
• Proven proficiency with neuro IR procedures and imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a specialized team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
