• Clinical Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7a – 7p and 7p – 7a

• Case Mix: General Hospitalist Medicine
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 124 Acute Care Beds including 14 ICU and 18 PCU beds
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard inpatient hospital equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary inpatient teams
• Support Staff Available:
• Dedicated NP/PA Admitter
• Day Coverage: 4 MDs and 1 NP
• Night Coverage: 1 MD
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
• Additional Facility Features: GME programs available
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Inpatient admissions and rounding
• Acute inpatient medical management
• General hospitalist coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active unrestricted medical license required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board Eligible candidates must be within 7 years of graduation
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: TBD
• Minimum 2 years prior hospitalist experience preferred
• Fellowship preferred
• Physicians only
• Telehealth experience not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient hospitalist/nocturnist coverage
• Manage admissions, rounding, and inpatient care
• Collaborate with NP/PA support staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate Epic documentation
• Provide quality patient-centered inpatient care
