Crusher Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crusher Operator to join our team in a quarry environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining crushing equipment to ensure efficient production of aggregate materials while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.

SHIFT: Rotating 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor crushing equipment to produce specified aggregate sizes
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on crushers, conveyors, and related machinery
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
• Report equipment malfunctions and assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals
• Perform pre-shift of plant and conveyors
• Performs general plant cleanup
• Perform daily greasing of plant and conveyors
• Maintain dust suppression system
• And other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Safely complete other assigned training.
• Safely meet the supervisor’s standards of performance.
• Safely fill in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands
• Safely replace or assist other workers as needed.
• Safely perform other tasks as assigned by supervision or designated lead person.
• Valid Driver's License
• Willing to work weekends and on call hours
• 5+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; willing and able to work rotating shifts

This is a Contract position based out of Clear Brook, VA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clear Brook,VA.
