As we expand our Richmond market operations, we're looking for a hands-on, field-ready Delivery Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping critical healthcare deliveries on time.

What You'll Do

Field Operations & Delivery Support

• Monitor daily route execution and delivery progress in real time
• Step in to perform deliveries and cover routes when operational needs require
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, and urgent service escalations on the spot

Contractor Onboarding & Readiness

• Coordinate and conduct onboarding for Independent Contract Couriers — including orientation, compliance documentation, system access, and client-specific training
• Ensure every contractor is fully prepared, equipped, and compliant before operating independently

Coordination & Communication

• Serve as the primary field liaison between dispatch and Independent Contract Couriers
• Act as an on-site point of contact for client questions and service escalations
• Reinforce professionalism, safety, and service standards across all field interactions

Scheduling & Route Optimization

• Assist with driver assignments, shift coverage planning, and route efficiency
• Proactively identify gaps and coordinate solutions before they become service failures

What We're Looking For

Requirement Detail

2–3+ years in logistics, dispatch, field operations, or transportation

Demonstrated experience training contractors or field staff

Field-first, problem-solving, ownership mentality

Clear, direct, and professional — with both contractors and clients

Comfortable with dispatch software, GPS tools, and mobile apps

Medical courier or healthcare logistics experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday | Flexibility required — may include early mornings, evenings, or mid-shifts based on operational needs.
