Fabrication and Manufacturing Specialist
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals in Lynchburg is seeking a Fabrication & Manufacturing Production Worker for one of its well-established clients with facilities in the Appomattox and Bedford areas. This position supports a growing production operation and is designed for an individual with experience in fabrication, welding, assembly, or machine operation. This individual will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the shop based on experience and production needs. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to expand skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, welding, assembly, or machine operation
- Ability to work in a production or shop environment
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple areas as needed
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Job Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication and production tasks based on skill level and training
- Assist with metal sorting, assembly, welding, or machine operation
- Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
Pay and Schedule: $18.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
