Commercial Construction Delivery Manager

From the first preconstruction checklist to final turnover, you will be the point of coordination for complex commercial builds. Whether you step in as a Project Manager or as an Assistant Project Manager, your day blends planning, field engagement, and stakeholder communication to keep scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality aligned.

A typical day may start by reviewing Procore logs, confirming schedule updates in MS Project, and clearing submittals and RFIs. Late morning takes you to the site for a quality and safety walk. In the afternoon you might facilitate an owner–architect–contractor meeting, negotiate a change order, true-up cost forecasts, and close out punch items on an active project.

What you will own

• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial projects—or support a senior PM in doing so—from preconstruction planning through execution and closeout
• Coordinate architects, engineers, trade partners, and suppliers to hit cost and schedule targets
• Track progress and mitigate risks tied to scope, timeline, and budget
• Administer project records including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
• Conduct recurring field walks to verify construction quality and compliance with safety requirements
• Lead or assist with client, stakeholder, and internal team meetings
• Support buyout and procurement of materials and subcontracted work
• Maintain cost reports, forecasts, and billing documentation
• Drive project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final inspections, and handover documentation

What you bring

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial construction project management or coordination
• Hands-on proficiency with project platforms such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of building means and methods, code compliance, and safety regulations
• Clear communicator with strong leadership and organizational habits
• OSHA certification and PMP are preferred
