Job Description: Serve as a Boat Captain in support of U.S. Navy Small Boat and Watercraft Waterfront Operations Testing, responsible for operating various military boats and craft undergoing a variety of tests and performance assessments.
Job Requirements/Skill Sets: Entry-level experience as required for a Merchant Mariner Credential. Required certifications include a United States Merchant Mariner Credential with endorsement for Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) or higher.
A “Class A” Commercial Driver’s License is desirable.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
