The Nova Labs is looking for a passionate Video Editor to join our creative team in Fairfax. This full-time, remote position offers a fantastic opportunity for entry-level professionals to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of video production within the Information Technology industry.
As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging video content that showcases our innovative solutions. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $140,000 annually, along with a supportive work environment that encourages creativity and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage and enhance it with graphics, music, and sound effects
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and scripts
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand standards and messaging
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and video editing techniques
- Assist in creating video content for social media platforms
- Implement feedback from team members and clients to refine videos
- Maintain organized project files and archives for easy access
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and video production
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to accept and implement constructive feedback
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred
