Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of Virginia or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and PDPM reimbursement models
