Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.
YOUR FUTURE ROLE
We are looking for a Security Compliance Senior Specialist (f/m/d) within the Security & Compliance unit of the newly formed Sovereign Cloud Technology & Deliver team as part of the SAP Government Security & Secrecy board area.
In this role, you will become a founding member of the Technology and Engineering team. You will be engaging with existing infrastructure and product experts to help build a security and compliance program for Sovereign Cloud, including defining processes and requirements, conducting assessments, and managing process improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
Due to the classified nature of our work, your willingness is required to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process. Besides that, you bring:
- Knowledge of FedRAMP assessment methodologies and enforcement procedures
- Understanding of FIPS encryption requirements
- Thorough understanding of security related topics
- Strong technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly
- Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take large quantities of information and identify key themes
- Ability to clearly and succinctly describe processes
- Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative
- Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
- Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong commitment to high quality work
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate time differences working with colleagues based in other time zones
- Willingness to travel (less than 10%)
- Fluent in English (required)
- Fluent in other languages (second language preferred)
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of related professional experience, such as IT audit, risk management, or DevOps (required)
- Experience in leading audits of NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP (required), and NIST SP 800-171 (preferred)

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 159800 - 271600(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
