Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mortgage products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for originating, evaluating, and securing mortgage loans while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Generate mortgage loan leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
• Meet with prospective borrowers to assess their financial situation and determine the appropriate mortgage products.
• Advise and guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
• Analyze financial information, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine loan eligibility.
• Educate clients on various mortgage options, terms, and requirements, helping them make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to expedite the loan approval process.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current mortgage industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the loan process.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners.
• Ability to work with Positivity and Honesty.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Mortgage Originator License in ANY of the following states VA, NC, FL, MD, and DC.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role.
• Proven track record of success in mortgage loan origination and sales.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and protocols for handing confidential information.
