Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic interventions, and crafting individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on appropriate credentials
• Offering education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies according to the scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic health issues
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, holistic care
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days)
