Training/TA Specialist - Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance

McColm issues this Call for CVs for qualified Training/Technical Assistance candidates under an anticipated contract with the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center. The position description below details the anticipated duties and qualifications of the position, contingent upon contract award.
The responsibilities of the Training/Technical Assistance (T/TA) Specialist are as follows:
- Design, implement, and evaluate T/TA programs for frontline professionals in social services, healthcare, behavioral health, and public health.
- Deliver training and capacity-building services to address the needs of vulnerable populations, including survivors of human trafficking.
- Facilitate high-level meetings, trainings, and focus groups with diverse stakeholders.
- Respond to T/TA requests promptly, providing public-facing customer support.
- Develop multidisciplinary approaches integrating social services and public health perspectives.
- Provide logistical and content support for virtual and in-person events.
- Build community partnerships to promote sustainable anti-trafficking efforts.
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies for T/TA services.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
The qualified candidate for the Training/Technical Assistance Specialist role must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and/or lived experience in human trafficking.
- 7+ years of experience in delivering T/TA and designing training programs.
- Expertise in capacity building and fostering community partnerships.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Experience with marketing, outreach strategies, and multidisciplinary T/TA development.
- Ability to legally work in the United States.
