We are seeking experienced QA Inspectors to join our team supporting shipyard and marine repair projects in the Hampton Roads area. The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring all work meets customer, company, and regulatory standards through detailed inspections, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and audits on marine and ship repair work, including structural, mechanical, and coating processes.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Complete inspection reports, nonconformance documentation, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with production teams and supervisors to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives across shipyard projects.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a QA Inspector in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of ship repair standards, materials, and inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (a Plus):

• Active DBIDS for shipyard access.
• Certifications in NDT, coatings inspection (NACE/SSPC), or welding inspection (AWS-CWI).
• Experience working with NAVSEA, ABS, or military contracts.
