Full‑time, exempt 1099 contract (no overtime) located in Fairfax, VA across the Mid‑Atlantic Region.

We partner with public, private, and non‑profit clients to solve complex problems and improve operations.

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to support our Education and Academia sector clients such as George Mason University (GMU).

Job Overview

Provide services and support as an Enterprise Architect for Education and Academia clients, focusing on Human Capital solutions. This role involves shaping technology strategy, establishing governance, and aligning vision and technology to enable growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish IT standards and governance.
• Conduct impact and risk analysis.
• Oversee system modernization.
• Ensure security and sustainability.
• Partner with CIO/ITS leadership.
• Shape the future—aligning vision, technology, and governance into sustainable architectures that enable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture.
• Strategic leadership, innovation, and compliance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
