Under broad supervision, responsible for achieving budgeted sales within assigned region or assigned account. Develops programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. Accounts are typically at the Company or national level and are moderately sophisticated in terms of category management. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

General Overview

EcoWater is seeking a Wholesale Sales Representative – Eastern Region to grow and strengthen our NorthStar Water Treatment Systems product line. This role is pivotal in driving success within the wholesale plumbing distribution channel, partnering with national and regional distributors such as Ferguson, Winsupply, Hajoca, and others who serve professional plumbing contractors.

We are seeking a motivated, self-directed sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional experiences to wholesalers, contractors, and end-users. The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with business acumen—able to communicate product value, train stakeholders, and expand EcoWater’s market presence.

This is a remote position covering the Eastern half of the United States, reporting to the Vice President of Sales. No direct reports.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies to increase sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities to expand NorthStar products and programs into additional territories and wholesalers.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to align go-to-market strategies and leverage shared resources.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with wholesale partners, rep agencies, and contractors.
  • Analyze business performance metrics to identify drivers of growth and implement effective action plans.
  • Design, communicate, and execute targeted sales plans that support overall business objectives.
  • Deliver impactful training sessions for wholesalers, contractors, and rep agencies to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Monitor competitive activity and strategically position EcoWater products for market advantage.
  • Apply the 80/20 principle and other prioritization frameworks to maximize growth impact.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the wholesale plumbing distribution channel.
  • Experience with consumer durable goods and branded products required.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through strategy and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Customer-first mindset with demonstrated ability to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Solid business and financial acumen; ability to analyze and communicate performance metrics effectively.
  • Knowledge of or passion for water quality solutions or adjacent industries preferred.

Travel Requirement

Approximately 60% within assigned territory (Eastern US)

Pay Range:

100,000.00 - 150,000.00
