Field Service Technician

What we are looking for:

The Service Technician obtains orders for sales and service contracts by performing meet and greets with laundromat owners. They also service and repair laundry equipment in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with Laundrylux established standards and procedures.

Back to the role:

Territory:

  • Maryland & North Virginia

What you will do:

  • Perform all service support as well as upsells and sells service contracts to locations.

  • Provide all Wascomat / Electrolux warranty labor.

  • Offer installation/parts support when needed.

  • Addresses all service and parts calls, customer support role.

  • Coordinates and schedules service calls for team and customers.

  • Supports team in project manager role when needed on laundromat projects.

  • Canvases markets and drops off mailers.

  • Drive the sale of Preventative Maintenance and Service Plans.

  • Recommend measures to improve service methods, equipment performance, and quality of service.

  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.

  • Maintain time and service records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Assist with helping key accounts.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Bilingual skills a plus.

  • Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions.

  • Valid Driver’s License

Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in installation and repair of commercial equipment.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.

  • Ability to operate equipment, i.e., forklift, pallet jack, lift gate.

Travel Required:

  • Frequent travel to customer locations.

  • Overnight travel on occasions
