As a Junior Java Developer, you will contribute to the Development and Maintenance of client's core business applications. This position assists in documenting the technical scope and design for new development and enhancements; designs and develops code; and ensures quality and integrity of software.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to new design and development tasks on assigned projects
- Create technical solutions based on end user requirements
- Contribute to and utilize programming guidelines/standards
- Understand and work within the SDLC methodology and recommend process improvements
- Understand dataflow and integrations of key system areas to enable solution design and bug resolution
- Contribute to the design of data models, views, and packages to streamline processing, increase accuracy, and remove redundancy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field (e.g., computer science, information technology, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Some Experience with PL/SQL and SQL Development in an Oracle database environment.
- Experience in software development.
- Experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL Reports, and Shell Scripts is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation. Ability to respond promptly to team needs and solicit feedback to improve service.
