Sentara Health is currently seeking an Administrative Associate at our Sentara Princess Anne Health Campus in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Hours/Shift: Full-Time, Days, Mon-Thurs 6:30am-5pm.
Off on Fridays and No Weekends!

Position Overview:
As an Administrative Associate you will provide administrative support to the unit/department(s) you are assigned to. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors coming into the pain management and physical therapy office. The Administrative Assistant position requires the application of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as excellent computer and clerical skills. This individual will be assisting with various administrative tasks for both the pain management and physical therapy clinic.

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required: One of the following is required:
One year of previous work experience in a medical office OR
One year or more of previous work experience in customer service OR
One year or more of previous work experience in a call center OR
One year or more of previous clerical experience OR
Associates or bachelor's level degree.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge and experience using Cadence and Epic
Healthcare environment

Performs registration and cashiering functions in an accurate manner which assures timely delivery of patient services. Functions in a multi-disciplinary environment, which requires the application of excellent customer services skills. Must be bondable.This position's primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and admitting the patients. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff.
