Principal DevSecOps Engineer (Remote - United States)
- Manage the release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipelines.
- Automate and streamline deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, IaC, and Release Management.
- 7+ years experience or 5+ years with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior level DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with release management and deployment automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certification in DevOps, Security, or Cloud technologies.
