As a Security Officer Screening Examiner in Chester, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies, helping to support authorized entry and identify items or activity that may require additional review.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns in line with post instructions.
• Complete required logs, screening records, and/or incident documentation while following client procedures, confidentiality expectations, and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
